When Tabasco entered the Buffalo Sauce category,  we needed a campaign that set this Avery Island offering apart from it’s New York competitors. We developed a tagline that used Tabasco’s brand equity to create credibility and used art and copy that played on hooves and horns as opposed to references to the city where the sauce originated. To maximized consideration and conversion, we explored concepts that put the product in unexpected places throughout the consumer journey. The campaign was capped off (pun intended) by an unprecedented move by Tabasco: creating our custom buffalo horn bottle cap.    Â
